Vehicle Overview

The heavy duty FJ-40 series Land Cruiser was introduced in 1960 and quickly became America's best-selling Toyota with production running nearly a quarter of a century.  The popular and durable FJ40 series has always been known as a very reliable, long-lasting and nearly unbreakable vehicle that gets you anywhere you need to be.  This classic Toyota Land Cruiser displays a full body off restoration which is believed to have been completed in 2008.  From every angle the quality and care in the restoration shows, from the laser-straight body panels to the beautiful red paint and careful assembly of the highly detailed components.  Propelling this 4WD is the proven F-series inline six cylinder that puts out a steady 125 horsepower.  Originally believed to be column shifted, it has been converted to a floor shift with the sturdy 3-speed manual transmission.  The drivetrain even includes a factory "power take off", or "P.T.O.", on the four-wheel-drive transfer case - perfect for a winch installation.  Inside the cabin the interior features steel flooring that has been finished with a durable rhino-liner application, restored upholstery in black vinyl with red piping, seating front to back along with full seat belts.  The refinished dashboard looks great and features the basic vehicle operating information instrumentation and controls.  Another neat FJ feature are the folding jump seats behind the passenger and drivers seats.  These folding seats not only made carrying another two passengers possible but also allowed for maximum cargo space.  The windshield folds down and the doors and roof can even be removed for the complete open-air experience.  These classic Toyotas are embraced by collectors of every age and are appreciating in value every year.  Here is your chance to have one of the finest examples available of the rugged and adventuresome 4-wheeler.
