This stunning 1969 Camaro convertible has been restored in its original color of code 72 Hugger Orange and is still powered by its numbers matching 210 horsepower 327 V8 and a reliable 3-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. The Camaro was equipped from the factory in Norwood, Ohio with air conditioning - a rare option, especially in convertibles. Other factory options include power convertible top, power steering, center console, and rally wheels to name a few. In terrific "driver" condition the Camaro looks great in its Hugger Orange finish with the black striping making it the perfect car for local cruise nights and car shows. The trim tag shows this car to have been built in the Norwood Ohio Assembly plant during the 4th week of October in 1968 and was purchased new from Clasen-Morse Chevrolet in Overland Park, KS. The level of documentation on this car is extremely high, and includes: the original dealer invoice, original Chevrolet Protect-O-Plate, original body broadcast copy and original owner's manual. This Camaro was certainly well cared for its entire life as also included with the car are dozens of parts and service receipts totaling over $24K! Less than 7% of all Camaros' produced during the 1969 model year were convertibles, making this one of the more collectible models, and Hugger Orange versions are even more rare. Included with the purchase of this Hendrick Performance vehicle, is the rare opportunity for you and up to three of your friends to tour the breath-taking Hendrick Heritage Center. Stepping inside this private museum, that very few have had the privilege to experience, will take you back in time to when American muscle cars ruled the street, and show you the story of Rick Hendrick's heritage and his amazing collection of rare and high-performance cars. Don't miss the opportunity to own this beautiful numbers-matching Camaro that is ready for your next top-down cruise!
