The restoration resulted in laser straight body panels before being finished in a beautiful coat of its correct, trim tag matching, code 19 Tuxedo Black paint. The high quality of the restoration extends to the undercarriage, where every nut, bolt, and fastener shines like new. Produced in the Norwood, Ohio GM assembly plant during the 3rd week of January 1970, the Camaro is powered by its numbers matching LT1 V8 mated to a Muncie M22 manual transmission and sturdy 12-bolt rear axle. Inside the cabin is the redone correct code 775 black standard interior that looks brand new in all areas. The front bucket seats, door panels, center console, carpet and upholstery all show extremely well. The glass, trim, and chrome are also in excellent condition. Additional features on the 1 of 4,862 Z/28s' is the rally sport equipment, power disc brakes and factory style dual exhaust. The Camaro has been thoroughly inspected by renowned Camaro expert Jerry MacNeish who has certified the Z/28's authenticity. - Excellent: Show car, freshly restored to like-new or better condition, also could be a very low-mileage excellent condition survivor or late-model vehicle
- Great: Older frame-off or very nice frame-on restoration, could be a low-mileage great condition survivor or late-model vehicle, the nicest condition car most people would feel comfortable driving to shows or for special occasions
- Good: Driver quality, at first glance a car that appears to be in great condition, a closer inspection will reveal minor flaws in the paint and interior, the undercarriage and engine bay normally looks unrestored.
