For one day in October the Hendrick Motorsports campus will become the center of the Corvette universe as we proudly host the 8th Annual Queen City Corvette Club Car Show.  Rick Hendrick thoroughly enjoys sharing his passion for Corvettes with others and is honored to be presenting this event that celebrates the everlasting love affair of America’s first sports car – the Corvette.  Partnering with Bloomington Gold, this fun-filled event will showcase the region’s best Corvettes and feature a variety of activities to see and experience.  From the Bloomington Gold Certification Judging and special “Gold Collection” display to Hendrick Heritage Center Tours and Corvette-focused education, there is something for everyone in commemorating the great Corvette motoring hobby.

To help celebrate Queen City’s over 50 years of “Cruising the Carolinas”, we would like to cordially invite you to join us on Saturday, October 12, 2019. Your devotion to the great Corvette motoring hobby continues to attract new interest and helps support several charitable causes such as the Hendrick Family Foundation.

This year’s show will be tremendously special as we pay tribute to one of the greatest champions of the Corvette world in honoring Hall of Fame member and automotive legend, Jim Perkins. 

Mr. Perkins storied career spanned nearly six decades all along the way helping the automobile environment become a better place.  Jim’s drive, vision and management skills elevated him to the highest levels of the industry’s top car companies ultimately establishing himself as one of the most innovative and dynamic auto executives in America.  His days at Chevrolet saw him touch and improve nearly every department of the division as he crisscrossed the corporate landscape to help restore the culture of “Chevy Proud” and once again make the automaker the pinnacle of automotive success.
